4. Our Services

SynovaMed provides online pharmacy and prescribing services across a range of healthcare areas, which may include:

  • Weight management;
  • Hair loss;
  • Erectile dysfunction;
  • Women’s health;
  • Skin conditions;
  • Sexual health; and
  • General healthcare services.

Our services typically involve:

  • Completing an online clinical consultation;
  • Identity and age verification;
  • Review by a GPhC-registered Pharmacist Independent Prescriber;
  • Clinical assessment and prescribing decision;
  • Dispensing through our registered pharmacy;
  • Secure delivery to your UK address; and
  • Ongoing monitoring through our patient portal where appropriate.

A prescription will only be issued where our clinical team considers treatment appropriate and safe based on the information provided.

5. Clinical Assessment and Prescribing Decisions

Every consultation is reviewed individually by an appropriately qualified healthcare professional.

Following review, we may:

  • Approve treatment and issue a prescription;
  • Decline to prescribe where treatment is not clinically appropriate;
  • Request additional information before making a decision; or
  • Recommend another treatment option or suggest contacting another healthcare provider, such as your GP.

Clinical decisions are made independently by our prescribing team and are based on professional judgement, patient safety, and relevant clinical guidance.

Where we decline a consultation and a consultation fee has been paid, we will refund that fee.

6. Fees and Payment

All prices displayed on our website are shown in GBP (£) and include VAT where applicable.

Payment is taken at the time of purchase or subscription sign-up.

Payments are processed securely through a PCI-DSS compliant payment provider.

Where subscription services are offered:

  • Subscription payments will be charged at the frequency selected at sign-up;
  • Available subscription periods may include monthly, 3-monthly, 6-monthly, or 12-monthly plans;
  • Longer-term plans may offer a reduced monthly price in return for committing to the agreed subscription period.

We reserve the right to update our prices. If you are an existing subscriber, we will provide reasonable notice before any price changes take effect.

7. Subscription Cancellation and Refunds

Cancellation rights depend on the type of service or subscription purchased.

In general:

  • Consultation requests may be cancelled before clinical review for a full refund;
  • Monthly subscriptions can be cancelled at any time, with no further charges after cancellation;
  • Committed subscription plans may be cancelled within the first 30 days without an early cancellation charge;
  • Cancelling a committed plan after the first 30 days may result in an early cancellation fee where this was clearly explained at sign-up.

Details of cancellation charges and refund eligibility will be provided before purchase and are available through our cancellation and refund information pages.

8. Prescription Medicines and Returns

For patient safety reasons, prescription medicines cannot normally be returned once they have been dispensed and supplied.

This is because medicines cannot be reissued once they have left the control of the pharmacy.

You should contact us immediately if:

  • Your medicine arrives damaged;
  • There is an issue with your order;
  • You believe there has been an error; or
  • You have concerns about your treatment.

Your statutory rights under UK consumer law remain unaffected.
